“She has allowed me to develop myself into a person with better understanding of how we feel what we feel. On the very first day of the class, she asked the class if we knew the difference between being uncomfortable and being in pain. She said that stretching ourselves out of the comfort zone helps us to become a better person, but being in pain does not. I sure was uncomfortable with lots of activities that we did in class in the beginning, but having Savanna leading us to challenge ourselves and bring our bravery inside allowed me to step further outside of my comfort zone... I think this is the class that I'll forever remember even after graduating.”

“ As a TA and a supervising TA, Savanna Padilla showed what leadership looks like in a time of difficulty. Her preparation, her calm and her compassion were the pillars of our TA team, helping to guide us through a course newly designed for online. Savanna was assured and skilled with her students as well, teaching with admirable joy and kindness to her class.”

“From everything she did, I could feel that she cared about the students and acting itself, it was easily visible that she had neverending love for acting and teaching. As a beginning actor, it could have been very difficult to understand what exactly it is that she is looking for, but she makes it easy for us to feel and to understand. She is absolutely the best instructor in any of the classes that I have taken at this university.”
